Photographing winter weddings is completely different to summer weddings. You want wont want to hang about for long outside in the cold, so I shoot extremely fast. I make full use of indoor locations and use video lights to capture the image without losing the atmosphere, which is what would happen if your photographer just used flash.

This is a wedding I’ve been looking forward to ever since I did Adam and Torrie’s engagement photography back in May 09. The wedding ceremony was in the Grand Opera House, with reception in the Baby Grand, before everyone crossed Glengall street to the Europa hotel for the wedding after party. Torrie’s Dad had made the 9 awesome wedding cakes!

We shot the wedding photography family photos in Belfast’s Botanic gardens, and had great weather for Feb. I had a great time shooting this unique day – Thanks Torrie and Adam!
