My advice for choosing a photographer is to focus on the quality of images, and the photographers style and personality. Even the best photographers will have a more affordable option if you have a small budget, but a big shiny album full of mediocre photographs isn’t a good choice in my mind.
Invest some time in an engagement shoot, especially if you are camera-shy! This is great fun, will give you confidence, and will help your photographer tell your story.
